Fuelled by a love for craftsmanship, my work often blends material honouring sculptures and cinematic storytelling, using props, sets, and sculptural forms as emotional agents within fictional narratives. My close relationship to materiality feeds my filmmaking with tangible sensitivity, and my cinematic plots infuse concepts for new sculptures to arise.
From childhood fears and dreams to screams for bodily freedom, I like to address urgent topics with a playful use of various mediums.
Often times, my work reveals at the intersection of play and critique.

In 2020 she co-founded Cranberry Juice,
a feminist artist collective investigating gender and sexual inequalities and radical futures for contraception.
From organising lecture series to hosting DIY contraceptive workshops,
this collective work creates a space for my activist desires to flourish.
In 2023 she graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie with a thesis titled Materialistic Childhood Fantasies, exploring the emotional connections and imaginative relationships children develop with objects.
She was recently awarded the Mondriaan Fonds Artist Start grant, supporting the development of her practice for the upcoming year.
Her work has been shown at festivals, museums and galleries such as Go Short Festival (NL), Eye Filmmuseum (NL), Galerie Chloé Salgado (FR), the Stedelijk Museum (NL) and KunstRAI (NL). The Eye Filmmuseum Collection Centre recently acquired one of her works. She currently lives at WOW Amsterdam, a five-year residency programme for emerging artists, where she is also developing a community project with Lola Lieven in Nieuw-West.
